6) Check the DTC.
NOTE
The previous malfunction history code (Past
DTC) still remains stored in the ABS HU.
Therefore, erase the history code memorized
in the ABS HU using SDS tool.
7) Click “Clear” (3) to delete history code (Past DTC).
NOTE
The DTC is memorized in the ABS HU also
when the wire coupler of any sensor is
disconnected. Therefore, when a wire
coupler has been disconnected at the time of
diagnosis, erase the stored malfunction
history code using SDS.
8) Follow the displayed instructions.
9) Check that both “Current DTC” (4) and “Past DTC”
(5) are deleted (NIL).
10) Close the SDS tool and turn the ignition switch OFF.
11) Disconnect the SDS tool and install the left frame
cover.
12) Ride the motorcycle at more than 30 km/h (18.6
mile/h) and quickly apply the brakes to check that
the ABS activates correctly.
