Cam Chain Tensioner
• Install the cam chain tensioner (1).
• Apply thread lock to the cam chain tensioner bolt (2).
Tightening torque
Cam chain tensioner bolt (a): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m,
16.5 lb-ft)
Cam Chain
• Install the cam chain drive sprocket (1) to the
crankshaft.
NOTE
Align the wide spline tooth of cam chain
drive sprocket and that of crankshaft.
• Install the cam chain (2) onto the cam chain drive
sprocket.
Starter Clutch
• Install the starter clutch (1). Refer to “Starter Torque
Limiter / Starter Clutch Removal and Installation in
Section 1I (Page 1I-10)”.
Gear Position Switch
NOTE
Align the gear position switch pin “A” with
the gearshift cam hole “B”.
: 23 Nm (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-ft)
: Apply thread lock.
