Use the procedure that follows to become familiar with the display adjustments
you can make.

Prerequisites
1. The instrument must be installed and operating.
2. The acquisition system should be set to run
continuously.
See page page 3--29 for acquisition setup and
page 3--63 for trigger setup.
Set vertical

3. Push a channel button to select the waveform (it
displays).
A channel button lights when its channel is on.
Note. For information on math waveforms, see To
Define a Math Waveform on page 3--175. For
information on reference waveforms, see Saving
and Recalling Waveforms on page 3--227.
4. Use the Vertical knobs to achieve a good display
of each waveform that you select.

5. To make sure the main graticule is selected, push the
MultiView Zoom button to toggle it off. Use the horizontal
knobs to scale and position the waveform on screen and
to set sample resolution.

The Resolution knob sets the record length. (See
discussion of record length on page 3--21.)
Push PUSH TO SET TO 50% if required to stabilize
display.
