Oscilloscope Reference Positive duty cycle
Positive duty cycle
This timing measurement is the ratio of the p ositive pulse width to the signal period expressed as a
percentage.
The duty cycle is measured on the rst c ycle in the waveform o r gated region.
Positive Duty Cycle = ((Positive Wid th) ÷ Per iod) × 100%
Positive overshoot
This voltage measurement is measured over the entire waveform or gated region.
Positive Overshoot = (Maximum High) × Amplitude × 100%
Positiv
ewidth
This ti
ming measurement is the distance (time) between the mid reference (default 50%) amplitude
points of a positive pulse.
The me
asurement is m a de on the rst pulse in the waveform or gated region.
