NOTE
Record the location and number of shims used (if any) to
ensure correct installation.
5. Remove the bedknife shoe mounting screw (8),
shake-proof cone washer (9) and shim(s) (10) from
the frame and bedknife shoe.
6. Remove screw (5), lock washer (6), retainer (12), and
reel clutch lever (7) from chain cover (11).

NOTES
• Place a suitable container under the cover and drive
case to catch oil.
• Dispose of used oil in compliance with all applicable
regulations.
7. Remove three 1/4-20 x 2-1/4” socket-head screws
(13) and washers (14) from cover (17).
8. Remove five 1/4-20 x 1-1/2” socket-head screws (15)
and washers (16) from cover (17).
9. Remove cover (17).
