Assembly Notes
• Apply Loctite
®
Primer to the front surface of the
bearing housing (9) and the rear surface of the brake
mounting bracket (11).
Apply a 1/4 inch (6 mm) bead of Loctite
®
518 Gasket
Eliminator to the bearing housing mating surface.
• Apply Loctite
®
242 (Blue) Thread Sealant to the
threads of the screws (1).
• Apply Loctite
®
242 (Blue) Thread Sealant to the
threads of the socket-head screws (12).
• Replace gaskets (4 and 7).
• Install a new oil seal (10).
