1. Clean the chain case (2) and front crossbar (1)
mating surfaces.
2. Apply Loctite
®
Primer to the chain case and front
crossbar mating surfaces.
3. Apply a 1/4 inch (6 mm) bead of Loctite
®
518 Gasket
Eliminator to the drive case mating surface.

4. Install chain case (8) on the front and rear crossbars.
5. Install two screws (6) and lock washers (7).
6. Install nut (11) and lock washer (12).
7. Install screw (9) and lock washer (10).
8. Install chain guide (3) using screw (4) and lock
washer (5).

9. Install bearing (13) on the reel shaft (16).
10. Install collar (15) on the reel shaft (16) and secure
using a pin (14).

11. Install bearing (17) on the traction drum shaft (18).

12. Install inner set screw (20) into the planetary gear
assembly (19), until the end is flush with the bottom
of the threaded hole.
