INTERNAL OPTION SWITCHES
The internal option switches are located on the motherboard (near front panel), as shown
in Figure 3-7 below. The function of each option switch is given in Table 3-3. These
switches are used to activate hardware and software options.
CAUTION:
Some internal components can be damaged by small amounts of static
electricity. A properly grounded antistatic wrist strap must be worn while handling any
internal component. For more information about appropriate safety precautions, see
Chapter 7, “Servicing.”
