3. Remove the two cable adjustment nuts from the
crossbracket(Fig.301).
5. Removethegripfromthespeedcontrollever(Fig.
303).

6. Removethetwosetsofboltsandnutssecuringthe
crossbrackettothecontroltower(Fig.304).
Note: Do not remove the wire harness from the
cross bracket. The clearance needed is
gained by removing the mounting hardware.
