Engine Base Installation
1. Secure the engine to the engine base using four
bolts and Belleville washers. Torque bolts to 30-35
ft-lbs (40.6-47.4 Nm) (Fig. 123).
Note: The crown of the Belleville washer must face
the head of the bolt.
4. Secure the rear of the engine base to the rear of the
deckusingtwocarriageboltsandangenuts(Fig.
125).

2. Lower the engine and engine base onto the mower
deck.
3. Secure the sides of the engine base to the mower
deckusingtheangenuts(Fig.124).
