Deck Strut Replacement
Rear Strut Removal
1. Raise the machine to access the underside of the
mower deck.
2. Removethebolt,nutandwashersecuringthestrut
to the frame assembly (Fig. 674).
Note: If the bolt must be replaced, loosen the
wheel motor to gain the clearance needed to
remove.
4. Remove the spacer from the suspension bushing
(Fig. 676).

3. Removethebolt,nutandwashersecuringthestrut
to the engine base and deck (Fig. 675).

5. Usinganarborpress,removethesuspension
bushing from the strut (Fig. 677).

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 on the other end of the strut.
