Spindle Assembly Replacement
Spindle Assembly Removal
1. Turn the ignition off and remove the key.
2. Remove the belt cover.
3. Remove the extension spring from the anchor post
(Fig. 559).
5. Raise the machine so the underside of the deck can
be accessed.
6. Blockthemowerdeckbladeandremovetheblade
bolt,washer,andbladefromthespindle(Fig.561).

4. Remove the belt from the mower deck pulleys (Fig.
560).

7. Remove the six nuts securing the thread forming
screws (Fig. 562).
