3.9 IO-Link master channels
The function description of the non safe IO-Link master channels can be found in the separate doc-
umentation Part 3- "TBPN-L1-FDIO1-2IOL - IO-Link master".
3.10 Configuration memory
A pluggable memory stick is included in the scope of delivery of TBPN-L1-FDIO1-2IOL. It serves for
storing the safety function configured via Turck Safety Configurator.
It allows to transfer the configuration of on
e device to another device (device exchange).

Turck Safety Configurator (page 41)).
3.10.1 Storing a configuration
The safety function is automatically stored to the memory stick after a configuration has been
downloaded to the device via Turck Safety Configurator.
NOTE
Non-safety-related configurations as for example the device's PROFINET name, the IP
address or the parameterization of the IO-Link and the standard I/O channels will not be
stored on the memory chip.
Storing a configuration at device start
Prerequisites
Empty memory chip
Device has stored a valid configuration
Power supply switched-off
Procedure
h Plug the empty memory chip into the device.
h Switch-on the power supply.

o the memory stick during device start.
