5 Address setting
5.1 F-address assignment
Set the F-address (PROFIsafe address) for the TBPN-L1-FDIO1-2IOL using the 3 rotary coding
switches under the cover at the device. In the delivery state, the rotary switches are set to 0.
NOTE
Address 0 is not a valid F-address.
Setting the F address
h Open the cover over the rotary coding switches by using a screw driver.
h Set the desired F address at the ro
tary coding switches (see
chapter 3.5, Address switches (page
18)
).
h Close the cover over the rotary coding switches by using a screw driver.
ATTENTION!
Protective cover opened
Protection class IP65/IP67/IP69K not guaranteed
h
Screw the protective cover over the switches firmly
h Check if seal of the protective cover is correctly placed
h Execute a restart (power cycle) of the device.
h Enter the set f address into the
configuration tool of the PROFIsafe master.
