Section 11: Welding Precautions
WELDING ALERT - ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS
Attention: Electric components will be damaged if not unplugged before
welding.
Read manual for location of components and instructions to unplug
before welding.
Electronic modules and controllers will be damaged from stray voltages
and currents generated during welding. To prevent damage to the
electrical components, connectors to the Remote Lockout (RLO) module
(1) and strike alert module (2) must be unplugged. Failure to
disconnect the modules and controllers will result in extensive damage
and costly component replacement.
Disconnect battery using Battery Disconnect switch (3).
Connect welding ground as close to work as possible.
NOTE: Access RLO (1) and strike alert (2) behind control panel.
