No. Legend Description
Actuator The last 2 digits define the CAN address of the actuator of this
device (for example, 0x25 is address 2.5).
In case of tread centering without actuator, the actuator must
be 0x00.
LeftCam The last 2 digits define the CAN address of the camera of this
device.
RightCam For Carcass only.
The last 2 digits define the CAN address of the additional
(right-hand) Carcass camera.
For other conveyors this address is read, but not used by
present versions of VVSX.
IObox The last 2 digits define the CAN address of the IO-box of this
device (for example, 0x0B is address 0.B).
In case no IO-box is present, set the address to 0x00.
FrontClamp Defines the number of the clamp used as front clamp for this
device.
RearClamp Defines the number of the clamp used as rear clamp for this
device.
Encoder The last 2 digits define the CAN address of this device (for
example, 0x3F is address 3.F).
In case no encoder is present, the address must be 0x00.
EncReuse ● -1: this conveyor has its own encoder
● 1: this conveyor re-uses the encoder of Breaker 1.
(see Breaker 3)
● 2: this conveyor re-uses the encoder of Breaker 2.
(see Breaker 4)
Split For breakers only.
● 0: Never split breaker (less communication on
the CAN network).
● 1: Depending on parameters suitable for split breaker.
CanChan Defines the CAN channel.
● 1: CAN channel 1 for Breaker.
● 2: CAN channel 2 for Carcass and Tread.
4 MaterialAlias definitions
The material alias defines an alternative name for each conveyor.
The material aliases can also be defined in VVSU.
Example:
BREAKER1 = Stock roll 2
In this example, the name 'Stock roll 2' appears between brackets behind the
conveyor name wherever it appears.
