Control Board Shield Assembly
The Control Board Shield assembly consists of the Control Board, Fax/
Modem board, and speaker, and the sheet-metal shield plate on which those
parts are mounted. The individual parts can be removed without removing the
entire assembly.
Before you remove the Control Board Shield Assembly, you must remove:
■ Left Side Cover (page 8-26)
1. Unplug the all connectors and remove the one screw securing the Ground
Cable. Refer to the diagram in the Control Board procedure on page 8-70
