Unfused Image
Part or all of the image is 
unfused.
■ Paper quality (damp paper)

■ Remote Control Panel

1. Paper is too thick, damp or 
contains a high percentage of 
cotton.
2. Printer is not installed in 
specified environment. 
3. Verify Remote Control Panel 
settings, such as envelope.
4. Inspect /clean/replace Fuser 
assembly as necessary.
5. Replace Main Board.
Skewed Image
The printed image is not parallel 
with the sides of the page.

Paper transportation

1. Inspect paper for damage. 
Replace as necessary.
2. Check paper tray for damage. 
Properly install fresh paper in 
the paper tray.
3. Inspect Pick-up roller 
assembly. Replace as 
necessary. 
4. Inspect paper transportation 
areas for proper operation.
5. Inspect /clean/replace Fuser 
assembly as necessary.
Skips/Smears
Skips, loss or stretching of the 
image in bands across the 
process direction.
Smears, the distortion of the 
image in bands across the 
process direction. Causes image 
to appear blurred or 
compressed.

1. Inspect paper transportation 
areas for proper operation.
2. Inspect main drive motor 
assembly for damage or worn 
gears. Replace as necessary.

OHP Print Distortion
Trembling appearance when 
printing on transparencies.

1. Verify Remote Control Panel

2. Verify transparency meets
