4. Installed condition of purge cut valve solenoid.
• Check for looseness or pinching.
Refer to “FUEL TANK” on page 7-1.
5. Defective purge cut valve solenoid.
• Execute the diagnostic mode. (Code 46)
Is resistance ∞ Ω?
YES
→Go to step 4.
NO
a. Replace the wire harness.
b. Turn the main switch to “ON”, and then check the condition of the DTC using the malfunction
mode of the YDT.
Is it in the “Recovered” condition?
YES
→ Go to step 7, and complete the service.
NO
→ Go to step 4.
Is check result OK?
YES
→ Go to step 5.
NO
a. Replace the purge cut valve solenoid.
Refer to “FUEL TANK” on page 7-1.
b. Turn the main switch to “ON”, and then check the condition of the DTC using the malfunction
mode of the YDT.
Is it in the “Recovered” condition?
YES
→ Go to step 7, and complete the service.
NO
→ Go to step 5.
