LIN MATH
This key is used to perform linear calculations on trace-to-trace data and write the results
to trace F. Calculations can be applied to trace A and trace B. The calculation results are
displayed in the main scale.
C=A+B(LIN) Adds trace A and trace B in linear form.
C=A-B(LIN) Subtracts trace B from trace A in linear form.
C=B-A(LIN) Subtracts trace A from trace B in linear form.
C=1-k(A/B) Given Trace A and Trace B, calculates 1-k(A/B).
Calculates 1-k × (trace A/Trace B) (linear value), and writes the results
to trace C.
The coefficient k may be changed in the range of 1.0000 to
20000.0000 (in steps of 0.0001) using the rotary knob, arrow keys, or
numeric keypad.
The coefficient k setting applies to both the <C=1-k(A/B)> key and
<C=1-k(B/A)> key. The trace display on the side of the data area
changes to “1-k(A/B)”.
C=1-k(B/A) Given Trace A and Trace B, calculates 1-k(B/A).
Calculates 1-k × (Trace B/Trace A) (linear value), and writes the
results to trace C.
