Entering the Name of the File to Be Saved
If you do not set a file name, the file will automatically be assigned a name using a serial
number or date.
For creating a directory and sorting the file list, see the page 8-9.

Press the CURSOR soft key, then set the cursor selection to DOWN (on the file
list side). An underscore is displayed with the program number selected in step 7.

Using the rotary knob or arrow keys, move the cursor to the line in the file list
displaying NEW FILE.

Press the FILE NAME soft key. The text entry window and corresponding soft key
menu are displayed.

Follow the instructions in section 4.3 to enter a file name.

Press the DONE soft key. The file name is confirmed, and the screen returns to
the previous stage.

To overwrite an existing file, move the cursor to the file name to be overwritten.

Press the EXECUTE soft key. The save executes.
When the RETURN soft key is pressed, the data is saved. The screen returns to
the previous stage.

When overwriting during a save, a confirmation message appears. Press the YES
soft key. To cancel the save press NO soft key.
