Refer to the requirements of national and local electrical codes for the location. The grounding lug is
located on the bottom front of the XFC

or XRC

enclosure.
WARNING – Bodily injury / Equipment damage: The equipment must be bonded to an earthing
terminal. The bonding conductor must have a cross sectional area of at least 12 AWG or 4mm2.
Manifold and tubing connections must be leak-tested before power application. Connection leaks
between the tap valves, the orifice, the manifold, and the XIMV can introduce measurement and
calibration errors.

Pressure calibration device
DANGER – Serious damage to health / risk to life. Manifold and tubing connection leaks
could create a build-up of explosive gases. Do not apply power before the tubing and
connections are leak-free, and explosive gases have dissipated.
Open the equalizer valves (see Figure 3-5: XFCG5 with XIMV and 5-valve manifold items 1
and 3) and close the manifold vent valve (item 2).
