5.12.3 Front Panel Disabling Function
This function disables all panel keys on the front panel in this instrument.
The following shows how to set the front panel disabling function.
Password setting
The password is required to enable or disable the front panel keys.
A four-digit number from 0000 to 9999 can be used for the password.
Set the password according to the following procedure.

Display section
1.
Press and select by using and .
MENU SYSTEM
2.
Press .
SYSTEM BEEP
3.
Select ‘PWD’ by using and .
SYSTEM PWD
4.
Press .
PWDnew
5.
Select the digit in the numerical value entry section by using and
.
Change the numerical value by using and to enter the pass-
word.
PWDnew
6.
Press .
PWDold
7. Enter the current password according to the above procedure. PWDold
8.
Press .
If the correct password is entered, PASS is displayed and the password
is set.
PWD PASS
If an incorrect password is entered, FAIL is displayed and the proce-
dure returns to step 3.
Reset by using the correct password.
PWD FAIL
9.
Press to exit from MENU.
