4.4 Checking a test card
Use this feature to check if a test card has already been
loaded.
1. Insert the consumables test card into the instrument.
2. Press TEST CARD.
If the test card is not detected, insert the card fully
into the instrument.
3. If the card is full, the Test Card count is 500.
If the card is has already been used, the Status is Test
Card locked.
4. Press Exit to return to the Diagnostics menu.
4.5 Testing and cleaning the sample probe
You can clean and test the sample probe from the
Diagnostics menu.
Testing the sample probe
1. Press SAMPLE PROBE.
2. Using the arrows, select a position to load.
3. Press LOAD to rotate the turntable to the selected
position.
4. Load the sample.
5. Press TEST.
6. Press Exit to return to the Diagnostics menu.

Cleaning the sample probe
1. Press CLEANING.
2. Remove the turntable
3. Press LOWER PROBE.
4. Clean the probe using a lint-free wipe and isopropyl
alcohol or a protein cleaner solution.
5. Press DONE to return the probe returns to the home
position.
6. Press Exit to return to the Diagnostics menu.
4.6 Testing the barcode scanner
1. Press Barcode.
2. Place a supported barcode

a few inches in front of
the barcode scanner.
If successful, you hear a beep and the barcode
information appears.
3. Press Exit to return to the Diagnostics menu.
