5 DIVA Philosophy
Before going any further, the philosophy of DIVA have to be exposed. This chapter will be split in three
parts:
Front Panel
Software
Events
5.1 Front Panel
The DIVA front panel have been made for basic controls operation as well as to define basic settings.
Some features of the front can be disabled in case of advanced configuration.
The Front Panel is designed to start three different messages, toggle between two music sources or
none, zone selection and Fireman Microphone call, access different menus
and to add level
attenuation for each speakers zone.
5.2 Software
The DIVA software is designed to perform a complete configuration as well as to real time control
some parameters.
Some software features activation can induced the corresponding front panel controls to be disabled.
Mostly, real time controls are related to audio settings, you will have control on parameters like, PEQs,
level and filters.
5.3 Event
DIVA is a multi-functional device that can be use with several external sources and trigger command.
In order to associate any action to an external command, you will have to define Event.
Event can be compare to an action. Each action or event can be started by a multiple of different
ways: external trigger, modulation detection, etc. Those events are hierarchically organized by priority
levels set for each one of them. You also can set permanent event like playing music. More
