" Do not interchange
" Check roller bearings for ease of movement
" Lubricate contact surface
14 - Hydraulic valve compensation element

" Lubricate contact surfaces before installing
15 - Pressure limiting valve 1.0 bar, 25 Nm
" For lubricating points in cylinder head

Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Universal dial gauge bracket -VW 387-
♦ Dial gauge -VAS 6079-
Procedure
– Perform measurement with retaining frame removed.
Axial clearance (inlet camshaft)
• Specification: 0.03 … 0.08 mm.
• Wear limit: 0.12 mm.
