2 Removing and installing parts of
exhaust gas temperature control
2.1 Removing and installing exhaust gas tem-
perature sender 1 -G235-
Removing
– Carefully pull engine cover panel off four retaining pins one
after the other -arrows-.
– Take electrical connector -1- for exhaust gas temperature
sender 1 -G235- out of bracket.
– Unplug electrical connector and move wiring clear.
Disregard -items 2 ... 4-.
– Remove heat shield for turbocharger -arrows-.
– Unscrew exhaust gas temperature sender 1 -G235- -ar-
row-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the follow-
ing:
• Installation position: the exhaust gas temperature sender 1
-G235- faces upwards.
Tightening torque
