1.14 Removing and installing fuel cooler
Removing
– Drain off coolant ⇒ page 161.
– Remove bumper cover (front) ⇒ Rep. Gr. 63.
– Remove air duct (left and right) -arrows-.
– Remove bolts -2 ... 5- and detach auxiliary radiator from
coolant hoses -1- and -6-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the follow-
ing:
Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose
clips (same as original equipment) ⇒ Parts catalogue.
– Install bumper cover (front) ⇒ Rep. Gr. 63.
– Fill cooling system ⇒ page 162.
Tightening torque
Component Nm
Condenser to radiator 9
ATF cooler to radiator 9
Cooler for power steering to radiator 9
Radiator to lock carrier 6.5
Component Nm
Auxiliary radiator to lock carrier 4.5
