• Easy to Start: Choose this option if you have a deployment of Avaya Meetings Server or
Avaya Equinox
®
Meetings Online in your company. You must enable auto-configuration
service discovery for this option. This option is described in Using easy start to setup up
the XT Series on page 97.
• Auto Provisioning: Choose this option if your XT Series endpoint is fully managed by an
Avaya Meetings Management server and you have received a service code for it. This
option is described in
Provisioning Avaya Room System XT Series endpoints
automatically on page 85.
• Manual Setup: Choose this option if you would like to manually configure your XT Series
endpoint. This option is described in
Manually setting up the XT Series on page 105.
6. Choose if you want to remotely control your XT Series (Controlling the XT Series on
page 137). To use the XT Remote Control Unit, first connect a monitor (Connecting Monitors
to the on page 58). Otherwise, use the web interface to control the system (see Accessing
Web Interface on page 147).
7. Register your license to activate the XT Series (see Activating the XT Series and its Optional
Features on page 105).
