rotating angle and speed of the ship. The control stick can be
moved along two axes. Its travel presets the thrust vector and
defines the magnitude and heading of the thrust.
The control knob at the top of the Joystick Type 531 is rotatable
and provides the 3rd axis of movement. In accordance to its
sense and angle of turning, the ship is set into rotary motion.
As soon as the operator releases control stick and rotary knob,
the joystick will return to its center position.
The Joystick Type 531 is equipped with double potentiometers
which sense the position of the control stick and rotating knob
along every axis of movement. The power supply is provided
through the joystick CAN bus cable.
