Mechanics

Mechanics have completed professional training or are able to pro-

vide evidence of having completed further training which enables

them to perform the special tasks mentioned in these instructions

on the system and its components.

The skills acquired during training or further training enable

mechanics to identify and evaluate hazards associated with the

system and its components.

These include:

— Knowledge about health and safety at work

— Knowledge about the basics of first aid

— Technical knowledge

— Knowledge about assembly, maintenance and repair

— Knowledge about machine operation, system management and

system operation

Operating person

Operating persons are able to provide evidence of having com-

pleted further training which enables them to perform the simple

tasks mentioned in these instructions on the system and its com-

ponents.

The knowledge acquired during further training enables operating
