4.4.4 Liquid phase outlet
NOTE!
The liquid phase must be able to drain off or be pumped off
at the outlet without pressure.

Shut-off device at the outlet
Depending on the operating conditions, it is advisable to install an
appropriate shut-off device at the outlet of the separator to pre-
vent the continued draining of the liquid phase when the unit is
stationary and to close the interior of the separator airtight, so
that the remaining substrate does not dry up.
— Read and follow the safety instructions detailed in
Ä
Chapter
2.12 “Safety instructions for maintenance and rectifying mal-
functions” on page 37.
— To the extent necessary, amply secure the surrounding area
when performing installation. Cordon off the working area with
a red and white safety chain and a warning sign.
Connect the discharge pipe with the suitable connection to
the outlet opening using an appropriate seal.
