Pieces of ice in the separating and conveying unit or the freezing
of the brush auger onto the wedge wire screen can result in sub-
stantial damage to the screen upon resumption of operation.
— Protect the Bioselect and the connections against frost.
— The gear motor on the Bioselect must rotate counter-clockwise when
looking at the rear of the drive.
— The brush auger must rotate clockwise when looking at the side with the
adjustment mechanism and the Multi Disc.
— Read and follow the safety instructions detailed in
Ä
Chapter
2.12 “Safety instructions for maintenance and rectifying mal-
functions” on page 37.
After establishing the electric connections, check the direction
of rotation of the separator and the connected rotary lobe
pump (if applicable) by briefly switching on the drives (switch
off immediately after switching on!) and correct this if neces-
sary.
