Addressing and Configuration in the Network
The remote keypad can be used in the same network topologies as the panel controller.
Loop topology
Loop topology with redundant panel
Bus Topology
Bus topology with redundant panel
Bus topology with redundant network
Bus topology with redundant network and redundant panel

The remote keypads are identified in the network by a unique address. This address is set on
the rotary switches and is known as the rotary switch number (RSN) (see the figures in the
circle on the circuit diagrams).
Note the address on the sign above the rotary switches (see Figure 4.101, Page 147, step 2).
Configure the remote keypad using the DIP switches. Mark the selected setting on the sign
below the DIP switches (see Figure 4.101, Page 147, step 4).
