onthecoverofthelterisnotallowed.
RemoveDEF/ADBLUE®crystallizationwithwateranda
brush.
Usageofhammerorpincersarenotallowedforthedis-
assemblyoftheconnector.
Followthemaintenanceintervalsbycheckingthehour
metereveryday.Beforestartingmaintenance,parkthe
machineonat,rmground,awayfromanyobstacles,
withthebucket/attachmentontheground.Keepallunau-
thorizedpersonnelclearofthearea.Unlessotherwise
specied,carryoutallmaintenanceoperationswith:

machinefromunexpectedarticulation

thekeyremovedfromthekeyswitch

a"DONOTOPERATE"tagonthekeyswitch

wheelchocksblockingthewheels
•
allcircuitscooleddownpriortostartingwork
•
allhydraulicpressurereleasedinliftarmandbucket/
attachmentcircuits
•
anyaccumulatorpressurereleasedfortheappropriate
circuit
Cleanthegreasettingsbeforelubrication.Cleanaround
plugsandllerholesbeforeaddinguid.Dustordirtmust
notenterthecomponentsorthecircuits.Wearsuitable
clothingandremembertousethenecessarysafetyequip-
ment.
Whenperformingserviceworkonthemachine,placea
“DONOTOPERATE”tagontheinstrumentpanelorthe
keyswitch.Turnofftheengineandremovethekeybefore
leavingtheoperator'scompartment.
Anymodicationtothismachinewithoutpriorauthoriza-
tioncouldcauseseriousinjury.Donotmakeanymodi-
cationswithoutauthorization.Consultyourdealer.
Theserviceintervalsinthischapterrefertonormalop-
eratingconditions.Duringtherstoperationperiodofa
newmachine(100initialhours)orrebuiltcomponentand
underparticularlysevereconditions,carryouttheservice
intervalsmorefrequently.
NOTICE:takeparticularcaretoreplaceallltersregu-
larly.Cleanltersmeanlongerenginerunninglife.
