Joysticksteering(optional)
Thejoysticksteering(JSS)allowstheoperatortosteer
theloaderusingahandcontrolslocatedontheleft-hand
operatorseatarmrest.Thejoysticksteeringallowsfor
steeringmovementattheoperator’sngertips.
MovingtheJSScontrollever(1)rightorleftsteersthe
machineintherightorleftdirection.Whenthejoystickis
released,theJSScontrollever(1)willreturntotheneutral
(center)positionautomaticallywhileleavingthemachine
articulatedinthecurrentposition.
Theuseofthesecontrolsareintendedforshortcycle,
repetitive,highproductionloadandcarryoperationsto
reduceoperatorfatigueandincreaseoperatingefciency.
Thesystemissetupsothatthesteeringwheelisalways
usable(italwayshaspriority).
TheJSSisnotdeactivatedwithsteeringwheeluse.When
thesteeringwheelisused,theJSSnolongerhascontrol.
Assoonasthesteeringwheelisnolongerbeingturned,
theoperatorisabletogobacktousingthejoystickwithout
havingtoreactivateit.
Thejoysticksteeringswitch(2)islocatedonthejoystick
steeringconsole.
Lifttheleft-handarmresttotheverticalpositiontodisable
theJSS.
