Thefollowingprocedureapplieswhenthemachineis
tobestoredforamonthormore.Storethemachineon
rm,levelground,insideabuildingor,ifnotpossible,
outsideandcoveredwithatarpaulin.Beforestoringthe
machine,carryoutthefollowingoperations:
1.Cleanthemachine.
2.Retractthearmcylinderrodasfaraspossible,and
lowertheboomuntiltheattachmentisrestingon
theground.
3.Greasethemachinethoroughly.Theexposedsur-
facesofthecylinderrodsshouldbegreasedor
coveredwithaprotectivelm.SeeyourCASE
CONSTRUCTIONdealer.
NOTE:whenthemachineresumesservice,thelmwill
disappearautomatically
1.Drainthefueltank,andllwithamixtureof90%diesel
fueland10%anti-corrosiveoil.Runtheengineatidle
speedforveminutestoallowtheanti-corrosiveoilto
reachthelines,lters,pumpandinjectors.
2.Whiletheengineisstillwarm,draintheoilsump,ll
withanti-corrosiveoil,andreplacetheengineoillter.
3.Whentheengineiscold,cleantheouterpartsofthe
enginewithdieselfuel.
4.Cleanorreplacetheairlterelement.
5.Drainthecoolingsystem,leavethedrainvalvesopen,
anddonottightentheradiatorcap.
6.TurnthetimeddisconnectswitchtotheOFFposition.
7.DraintheDEF/ADBLUE®systemifthemachinewillbe
instoragelongerthan90days.

8.Removetheaccesscoverbelowthesupplytanktogain
accesstothedrain.
NOTE:usecompressedairandwater,tocleandebrisfrom
arounddrainplugarea.
