YourmachineisequippedwithanoperatorProtec-
tiveStructure,suchas:RolloverProtectiveStructure
(ROPS)orFallingObjectProtectiveStructure(FOPS).
AROPSmaybeacabframeoratwo-postedor
four-postedstructureusedfortheprotectionofthe
operatortominimizethepossibilityofseriousinjury.
Themountingstructureandfastenersformingthe
mountingconnectionwiththemachinearepartofthe
ROPS.TheProtectiveStructureisaspecialsafety
componentofyourmachine.DONOTattachany
devicetotheProtectiveStructureforpullingpurposes.
DONOTdrillholesintotheProtectiveStructure.The
ProtectiveStructureandinterconnectingcomponents
areacertiedsystem.Anydamage,re,corrosion
ormodicationwillweakenthestructureandreduce
yourprotection.Ifthisoccurs,theProtectiveStructure
MUSTbereplacedsothatitwillprovidethesame
protectionasanewProtectiveStructure.Contactyour
dealerforProtectiveStructureinspectionandreplace-
ment.ThemountingorsuspensionfortheProtective
Structure,operatorseatandsuspension,seatbelts
andmountingcomponentsandwiringwithintheoper-
ator’sprotectivesystemMUSTbecarefullyinspected
fordamage.AlldamagedpartsMUSTbereplaced.
ROPSidenticationplate
ThewheelloaderhasaROPSidenticationplate
showingthecerticationoftheROPS,grossweight,
approval,regulation,andmodelnumberofthema-
chine.
TheROPSidenticationplateislocatedundertheop-
erator’sseatattheleft-handside.
