Whenhandlingdieselfuel,observethefollowingprecautions:
1.Donotsmoke.
2.Neverllthetankwhentheengineisrunning.
3.Wipeupspilledfuelimmediately.
Failuretocomplycouldresultindeathorseriousinjury.

Replacethefuellterwhenthemachineisnewandthehourmeterregisters100hours.
Replacethefuellterevery500hoursthereafterormorefrequentlywhenoperatingconditionsaresevere.
Cleanthelterheadarea,theoutsideofthelterandremoveanydirtanddebrisaroundtheareathatmightcontam-
inatethesystem.
Prioroperation:
Keepallnon-authorizedpersonnelclearofthearea.Parkthemachineonlevelground,inneutralwiththeparking
brakeappliedandtheattachmentloweredtotheground.
1.Installthetransport/servicelinkintothelockedposition.
2.Turntheltercounterclockwiseandremove.Besure
tocaptureanyfuelremaininginthelinesorthelter
anddiscardproperly.
3.Applyathinlayerofcleanoiltothegasketonthenew
lter.
4.Fillthenewlterwithfuel.Installthelter.Useyour
handstotightenthelter1/2to3/4turnafterthelter
makescontactwiththelterhead.
Bleedairfromthefuelsystem.
NOTICE:neverusealterwrenchtoinstallanewlter.
