ResettingtheSelectiveCatalyticReduction(SCR)system
ForDEF/ADBLUE®storagetankuidlevelfaults,failureswhichcancauseenginepowerloss,performasfollows:
•
RaisetheDEF/ADBLUE®tanklevelabove15%ofthetotalvolume.
•
CyclethekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionorreturnthethrottletolowidleposition.
ForDEF/ADBLUE®qualityandSCRsystemtechnicalfaults,failureswhichcancauseenginepowerloss,read
thefollowing:
•
Tofullyresetthesystem,repairorreplacethecomponent/failurecausingthefault.
•
Switchingofftheenginewillresetthesystemandtheenginewillrestartatfullpower.
•
Ifthesamefailureisre-detectedwithin40hofengineoperation,thelastactiveenginepowerlosslevelwillbe
activated.
•
Ifthesamefailureisdetectedthreeconsecutivetimeswithin40hofengineoperation,maximumenginepowerloss
willremainactiveafterenginerestartuntilthesystemisrepaired.
•
