Requirements
TheoperatormustmaintainappropriateDEF/ADBLUE®levelsatalltimes.Noadditionalmaintenanceisrequired.
NOTICE:prolongedidlingofthemachinewithnoloadformorethan6hwillcausedamagetotheSCRcatalyst.
NOTE:seeyourCASECONSTRUCTIONdealerforreplacementcomponentsandcleaningagents.
NOTICE:whileanycompanycanperformnecessarymaintenanceorrepairsonyourequipment,[Brand]strongly
recommendsthatyouuseonlyauthorizedCASECONSTRUCTIONdealersandproductsthatmeetthegivenspeci-
cations.Improperlyorincorrectlyperformedmaintenanceandrepairvoidstheequipmentwarrantyandmayaffect
serviceintervals.
DEF/ADBLUE®tankrelling
TheDEF/ADBLUE®tankislocatedontheright-handside
ofthemachine,nexttothedieselllingport.
TheDEF/ADBLUE®tankcap(2)islocatedontheright-
handsideofthemachine,insideitsowncompartment
(1).Openthecompartmentdoorandlocatethebluetank
cap(2).Attingunderthecappreventstheinsertionofa
dieselllnozzle.
NOTICE:ifanyDEF/ADBLUE®spillsorcontactsany
surfaceotherthanthestoragetanks,immediatelyclean
theaffectedsurfacewithclearwater.DEF/ADBLUE®
willcausecorrosiononpaintedandunpaintedmetallic
surfaces,andmaydistortsomeplasticandrubbercom-
ponents.

NOTE:theureaqualitysensoronthebottomoftheDEF/ADBLUE®tankcanberemovedtodrainuidoutofthetank
asnecessary.Whenremovingtheureaqualitysensor,itisrecommendedthattheelectricalharnessshouldnotbe
disconnectedfromtheureaqualitysensor.Theureaqualitysensorshouldbecleanedbyushingwithdeionized
waterbeforere-installation.Notethatthesensorshouldnotbesubmergedwhilecleaningsothatwaterdoesnot
entertheventlocatedonthebottomofthesensor.Alsonotetheiftheharnesswasdisconnectedfromthesensor,
theelectricalpinsmustbecleanedwithelectricalcontactcleaneranddriedbeforetheharnessisreconnectedtothe
sensor.
ItisrecommendedthatDEF/ADBLUE®llingequipmentshouldbeusedhavingallnozzle/pumpwiththecorrect
lengthanddiameter,triggeredbythemagnetinthetankllerneckandwithoverllowcutout.
Thiswillensurethat:

Thescreeninthellerneckwillnotbedamaged.
•
ImpuritiesdonotentertheDEF/ADBLUE®.ThestandardizedDEF/ADBLUE®nozzlematchesthellerneckdiam-
eter.
•
TheDEF/ADBLUE®tankisnotoverlled,astheDEF/ADBLUE®pumpwillstopwhentheDEF/ADBLUE®tankisfull.
NOTICE:ifawarninglighthasbeentriggeredforloworemptyDEF/ADBLUE®,thesystemmustberesetbycycling
thekeyswitchOFFthenONafterrellingtheDEF/ADBLUE®tank.
NOTICE:donotrelltankwithafunnel,asthismayleadtodamageofthescreeninthellerneck.
