3.Usea3/8inchbreakerbartoactuatethebelttensioner
justenoughtoreleasethetensiononthedrivebelt.
Removethedrivebelt.

4.Placethedrivebeltaroundthepulleysofthecrank-
shaft,thefanandthealternator.
5.Raisethebelttensionerandinstallthedrivebeltover
thewaterpumppulley.
NOTE:thewaterpumppulleyhasthesmallestange,
whichallowsaneasilyinstallationofthedrivebelt.
6.Lowerthetensioner.
7.Inspectallthepulleystocheckifthebeltisinthecorrect
position.
8.Starttheengineandrunatlowidlefor60–90s.
9.Stoptheengine.
10.Inspectthetensionerforacorrectdrivebeltalignment.
NOTE:theminimumclearancefromthefrontortherear
angeofthepulleytothebeltis1mm.
