Jumppost(optional)
Makesurethatthevoltageoftheboosterbatteriesis
thesameasthatofthemachinesystem24V.Thejump
postislocatedontheleft-handsideofthemachine
alongwiththetimeddisconnectswitchcompartment.
1.Turnofftheignitionandallaccessoriesonthema-
chine(s).Usethejumppoststoconnecttheauxiliary
battery.
2.Connectoneendofthepositive(+)cabletothepositive
(+)terminalontheboosterbattery.Connecttheother
endofthepositive(+)cabletothepositive(+)terminal
ofthejumppost(red).
3.Connectthenegative(-)cabletothenegative(-)termi-
nalontheboosterbattery.
4.Connecttheotherendofthenegativecabletotheneg-
ative(black)terminalofthejumppost.Donotconnect
tothenegativeterminalonthebattery.
NOTICE:donotconnecttheotherendofthenegativeca-
bletosheetmetaloranyrotatingpart,asdamagecanre-
sult.
5.Starttheengine.
6.Removetheboosterbatterynegative(-)cablefromthe
jumppostandthenfromtheboosterbattery.Remove
thepositive(+)cablefromthejumppostterminaland
thenfromtheboosterbattery.
7.Installtheterminalcovers.
