OIL DRAIN PERIOD:
For engines operated in corporate or utility airplanes with a typical
utilization of 50 hours per month or less, it is recommended the oil be
changed every 400 hours or 12 months, whichever occurs first. For
engines operated in high utilization commuter airline type operation, a
basic oil drain period of 1200 hours or 12 months is recommended.
Regardless of the degree of utilization, if operating in a sandy or dusty
environment, the oil change
interval must be at least every 6 months.
