Replace the regulator / rectifier if the
resistance is out of specification.
Replacement
Remove the Seat.
Disconnect the wire coupler of the
regulator/rectifier connectors. Remove the
voltage regulator/rectifier by removing the two
flange bolts
Installation is the reverse order of removal.
A.C Generator Inspection
Disconnect the 3P coupler of the generator
code.
Measure the resistance between the yellow
leads.
Standard Resistance: 0.4~1.2 (20 /68 )
Measure the resistance between the yellow
leads and engine ground.
