Cylinder Head / Valve
Inspection
 Inspect the rocker arm and rocker arm shaft for
wear and damage.
 Measure the rocker arm I.D.
Service Limit : 12.060mm(0.4748in)
 Measure the rocker arm O.D.
Service Limit : 11.950mm(0.4505in)
 Inspect the cam lobe of the camshaft for wear
and damage.
 Measure the height of the cam lobe.
Service Limit:IN) 37.420mm(1.4732in)
EX) 37.300mm(1.4685in)
 Turn the outer race of each bearing with your
finger. The bearing should turn smoothly and
quietly.
 Check the bearing for damage.
Cylinder Head Removal
 Remove the engine from the frame ( 5)
 Remove the camshaft.
 Remove cylinder head from the cylinder.
