Electric Starter
Operation Inspection
Disconnect the wire connector of the magnetic
switch. Connect the positive wire to the
yellow/red wire terminal and the negative wire
to the green/red wire terminal and shown.
There should be continuity.
Ground Circuit Inspection
Disconnect the green/red wire connector of the
starter magnetic switch.
There should be continuity between the starter
magnetic wire terminals at the harness side
and ground.
Voltage Inspection
Measure the voltage between the yellow/red
wire ⊕ of the starter magnetic switch and
ground.
Turn the main switch “ON”. There should be
battery voltage while the starter switch is
depressed.
