Configures the MTU packet size.
Synopsis ip mtu bytes
no ip mtu
Operands bytes The size of the MTU in bytes.
Description Use this command to configure the IP MTU packet size.
Defaults The default IP MTU size is 1500 bytes.
The default link MTU is 2500 bytes.

VLAN interface configuration mode
User Guidelines Use the command no ip mtu to disable the MTU. The valid range is from 576 through 9018.
The default IP MTU size is 1500 bytes.
