Sets the speed on the interface.
Synopsis speed {10000 | auto}
Operands 10000 Forces the speed to 10 Gbps.
auto Allows the interface to negotiate the speed setting.
Description Use this command to set the speed negotiation value for the interface.
Defaults The default setting for this command is auto.

Modes
Interface configuration mode.
User Guidelines The speed command is available only for intengigabitethernet ports. It is not valid for
extengigabitethernet ports. The speed for extengigabitethernet ports is fixed at 10000 and cannot
be changed).
