Raise the latch of the right hand cover and open
the cover.

Hold the fusing unit by the grips on both sides,
and remove the fusing unit from the machine.

Take out a new fusing unit from the box.

Hold the new fusing unit by the grips on both
sides, and then place the fusing unit onto the
machine.
Note • Hold the fusing unit with both hands so that
you do not drop it.

Close the right hand cover.
Note • When closing the right hand cover, apply your
hand in the vicinity of the handle as shown in
the illustration, and then press the cover firmly
toward the machine.
• If the front cover is not closed completely, a
message appears and the machine will remain
paused.

Switch on the main power, and then switch on the power.
